This has happened to me like 3 times and I keep wondering why some people pull this stunt. I need directions and after you are done directing me, the next thing is to tell me that you are going my way and I should let you ride in my car. The other day i was in need of directions,and am actually half way to my destination but I got stuck. I cleared off the road and asked some people standing by the side of the road. As am getting the directions, one particular director said, "In fact, am going the same way. If you don't mind, let me enter your car so I can show you the road. You have a lot of turns to make and if you miss any turn, it will be very difficult for you to get back to the junction where you're supposed to enter. There's this turn that is difficult to locate and if you miss it, you will have to drive daaahn daaahn daaahn to make a U-turn. And you know you can't drive one-way because all those wickeding LASTMA officials will cash you if you do."
Am listening to the guy and am like so my route has suddenly become the same as yours, okwia? You didn't take a bus or cab to where you're going, na me go carry you go there. Nna mba o.

In my mind I said, "Hol' up! hol' up!. Thanks but no thanks. You can't hitch a ride with me, gerrarahia!" But I gave him a nice plastic smile and thanked him for his help.
