You can now opt out of MTN's unsolicited adds and promos all by yourself.
Just type *123*5*4# dial and follow the prompt.
Apparently, it's like they have finally decided to stop bugging people with their endless text messages.
An SMS comes into your phone. You leave what you're doing and rush to grab your phone hoping that a credit alert came in or that one beta text message came in.
You unlock your phone and open the text messages app. Lo and behold! it is one of MTN's yeye text messages..........mstcheeeeeewww!
Just as you are deleting it, another one pops in........ :-( :-( :-(
